A new structure has been placed in Lions Park as of August 4th. Welcome to be in use for all community members!
What is a LFL?: A Little Free Library as described is a small library with free books! Where community members can take a book to keep, and leave a book for someone else to take in the future!
When did these structures start?: In 2009 Todd Bol placed the first little free library in Hudson Wisconsin right in front of his house. With the partnership and help from Rick Brooks their Little Free Library inspired people around the world to create there own.
What kinds of books are at the LFL?: The Little Free Library has many kinds of books to enjoy! Learning about seasons, letters, kinds of families, animals, and stories from familial characters! Some books for teens and adults too!
Who made the LFL in Hustisford: Ruthie Shotton the Library’s 2026 teen intern built and painted the design! This program was made possible by a generous grant from the DPI.
